Curriculum vitae:
Fritz Sdunek is respectfully referred to as "Father of all trainers" by journalists and fellow trainers. To this high reputation Sdunek has come for a simple reason: Being the most successful German pro trainer of all times he counts among the best of his profession world-wide.

Born in 1947 in the little town of Lissow near the Baltic sea, Sdunek passed through a successful career as an amateur boxer and later decided to become a trainer himself. At the age of 16 Fritz started boxing in a local boxing club and some years later joined the club "Traktor Schwerin". After nine years as an active boxer Sdunek put an end to his amateur career having won 99 of his 129 fights and after having become Student Middleweight Champion of the then German Democratic Republic in 1968.
